The ozone generator is designed to generate ozone from the air for its further use as a reagent in water purification plants.

Application area: water purification and sterilization units, ozonation of liquid media.

The generator is designed for operation in a dry, heated room at positive temperatures from +50C to +400C and a relative humidity of no more than 60.

Electromagnetic fields and noise generated by the generator are within the limits of Sanitary Rules and Norms 2.2.4.1191-03 and SN 2.2.4/2.1.8.562-96, respectively.

The generator is powered from an alternating current source with a voltage of 220V +/- 10% with grounding separate from the neutral wire and voltage variation limits from 195V to 230V.

PRINCIPLE OF PRODUCT OPERATION

The ozone generator includes the following functional units:

  • high voltage pulse generator;
  • discharge chamber;
  • generator cooling system;

The specified units are housed in a single housing.

Discharge type: pulse barrier discharge.

Operating principle: High voltage pulses are applied to the high-voltage electrode of the discharge chamber. A pulse barrier discharge with characteristics adapted for operation in non-dried air is ignited in the interelectrode gap of the discharge chamber. Air is blown through the discharge chamber. Under the action of the pulse barrier discharge, ozone is generated from atmospheric oxygen.
